Orvito was incorporated with a clear vision and an aspiration to create integrated platform that unifies devices, mobile applications, cloud services, and data analytics, with an overlay of a consistent, easy-to-use interface.
It took us almost three years, hundreds of conversations with consumers, real estate developers, office building owners/operators and partners, tens of pilot implementations world-wide, and a global research, development, assembly, and sales footprint, to begin realizing our aspiration.
Today, we are proud to launch Orvito Nucleo™, our integrated IoT platform.
Nucleo offers end products such as Smart Switch Panel, Video Door Phone, Safety Sensors, Surveillance Cameras working with a single Hub, which also functions as a core command center. The platform also provides a cloud-based infrastructure for unified control, monitoring and analysis of residential, enterprise, retail, institutional, commercial or industrial facility. Nucleo uses well documented API’s to enable third party devices to integrate and provide a consistent user experience.
Orvito cloud computing platform is built on a customized Linux system operating at multi-site, secure servers with 256 bit encryption. The IoT platform uses HTTPS to secure communication among cloud, end devices and client applications. Orvito supports a developer program to enable the community to create applications using APIs (Web Services). In addition, Orvito envisages opening the platform to enable third party device and application integration.
The end devices and Nucleo platform elements were designed and built at Orvito R&D facility with attention to user experience, ease of installation, reliability, security, and scalability of functions and features. Nucleo serves as an ‘on demand’ home automation platform. It offers our customers the ability to adopt as much or as little of home automation as they would like, while reserving the option to scale and add additional functions or features in the future. Customers can opt for installation of only a few devices, and later upgrade to hundreds of devices based on their requirement.

Applications are built natively using a combination of well published open API’s and certain proprietary protocols. The applications are built to enable the user to get synchronized and real time updates on mobile, desktop and tablets. The customer can access data from anywhere and at anytime with appropriate access level controls.
